    Hello. I'm twenty-two years of age and female. I've been on LJ for several years and, after a few false starts, have finally settled down with this journal. My entries are somewhat daily ramblings, but are also quite introspective and delve into my deeper thoughts. I am a very emotional, reflective person. I discuss topics like religion, my mental health, and my future goals.

    I am quite introverted, so my primary interests are watching films, reading books, and listening to music. I am also fascinated by history, psychology, and different cultures and languages. I hope to travel the world someday, or at least throughout Europe.

    Simply put: I am looking to make real friendships on LJ, not just superficial acquaintanceships to increase the number of people on my list. Perhaps pen-pals eventually, but that is not required, of course.

    Please comment if you'd like to add me. I'd prefer eighteen or older, but younger is acceptable if you're mature of mind. Thanks.

    I just made myself a new journal. I needed a new and fresh start and a new outlook on life. I need some new friends, friends who are open minded, creative, and who would actually like to get to know me. I don't want friends on here who don't comment or respond, or don't even communicate.

    I'll be 18 in November. I'm a senior and I think public school is a joke. My dream is to move somewhere like Maine or Edinburgh and have a house with flower and vegetable gardens and animals. Live a hippie-style life.

    Ive had livejournal for quite some time now, Ive gone through a lot of lj friends, but the ones i've had now i've grown close bonds with pretty much each one of them. My life sometimes has some drama, but who's doesnt? I love my family & my friends, although sometimes it may seem I dont. But anyways, I would love it if you'd add me keep it a fair amount in the age limit, I honestly am not a fan of having 25 year olds on my friendlist :( . No offense, of course :)

    are so miniscule that they have no place here. I love life right now

    Hi all. 

    I'm Keren. Betcha you've never seen it spelled like that? Me either, outside of Israel. I stopped posting to my old LJ - back in the days of S1 and needing a code - during college. You could say I'm having a bit of a quarter-life crisis these days, trying to smoothly transition from college to yuppiehood. My random adventures are now limited to the weekends. Boooo!

    I write about being a C-minus class womanizer in the big city, the fact someone stole my life savings eleven months ago, silliness, observations on life, and NYC nights in general. I also have the occasional art project like 72nd to Canal.

    While most of my readers're women, cause I think they wanna know what goes through a single guy's mind here, all're welcome.

    Oh and as an added bonus 99.999% of my relationships go to hell despite my best efforts, so that's always an interesting read.

    Luckily, I'm stupidly optimistic with a low tolerance for rum.

    Obviously, I'm looking for some friends. New account, but not a new LJ-er. I've just taken a year-long hiatus and feel like starting fresh.

    I'm Amanda, but most people call me Nicole. I'm an Ohio native, so that means I always complain about the weather in the winter.

    My profile is under construction, but just about all my interests are there. Right now, though, I'm especially crazy over: Portal, Arrested Development, Futurama, Family Guy, Project Runway, and Psych. I'm a huge fan of Pushing Daisies, as well, and waiting for this fall is killing me.

    Oh, and most importantly: I want friends who will comment me and actually talk. I will return the favor! I'd rather have five people in my f-list who talk to me than five hundred that I don't know. :[

    I’ve posted in add me communities a few times. Unfortunately I have yet to grow any bonds with any of the friends I have made.

    I am currently looking for a few new friends here on LJ that I can have some kind of connection with.

    I am a previous LJ user gone to GJ user and then back to LJ user when GJ crashed out. I made some really good friends on GJ and luckily a couple came back over to LJ with me. However it has never been the same, nor do I expect it to be exactly as it was… I’d just prefer a bit closer and somewhat more expanded LJ social life.

    Now, to me:

    I have a compulsive obsession with my hair. Between dying and not dying it, being a red head or attempting to go blond, and of course the dire dilemma of “to cut, or not to cut” my hair… I tend to bitch about it from time to time in my entries.
    I struggle with food and can’t eat like most people do. I’ve accepted it.
    I have a great boyfriend that I’ve been dating for over 5 ½ years and we’ve been living together for about a year and a half. We’ve had our bumps in the road that sometimes seemed like mountains, but we’ve conquered them all.
    When you hear someone say cat person, I am who they are talking about. Together, me and my boyfriend have 4 cats… and believe me, it would be more if we had a bigger place.
    Though I have no beef with Christians and respect their beliefs, they tend not to do the same for me. I am Pagan.
    I am very close to my mom and still look up to her because she is just so very much the ideal role model for me.
    Unfortunately like many people in the newer generations, I have father issues… and they tend to pop up randomly in my journal. (had one recently actually)
    I have a pretty screwed up past, I’ve made mistakes, bad things have happened to me and sometimes life just happens… but I try not to gloat over it.
    I have a very select few that I can call friends, but I love them dearly. They are like family to me.
    I have no tolerance for the intolerant, ignorant, close-minded, judgmental, extremely immature, rude, still stuck in high school mentality, drugs should so be legal man, drama seeking, I’m better than you ego tripping, two faced type of people. Just putting that out there.
    I know myself pretty well, but I’m still figuring some things out and probably always will be.

    As for my journal:
    I sometimes write very long entries and ramble.
    On a day to day basis I usually write about my day and what happened.
    Sometimes randomly I write entries on one specific issue.
    I contradict myself quite possibly all the time.
    I don’t always keep my word, especially when it pertains to me specifically.

    Me and Friends:
    I comment when I feel I have something appropriate to say or feel the need to say something. I will not promise to comment on every single entry, though chances are I will read them.
    I do not expect my friends to comment on every single one of my entries either. I don’t even necessarily expect them to read every single one of my entries, especially when they are the really long ones just rambling about my day. I do however expect that most of my entries will be read by my friends and not just taking up space on their friends page.
    I also expect that on serious matters they somehow recognize it is a serious matter. I want to be able to know that I am not just another username among 50 others on someone’s friends list.
    I like friends that I have things in common with, that update frequently, though not necessarily daily. People I at least feel like I could communicate with outside of LJ, not that I have to.
    I don’t like having a gazillion friends to try and keep up with. I do have a life and don’t have all day to spend reading my friends page.

     hi,my name is may. i'm currently studying in nan hua high school of singapore. nice to meet you all. :]

    these are some of my interests:
    volleyball,badminton,running,going out with friends,surfing through the internet and chatting with friends.
     
    i love volleyball,although i just learn the basics of it. i like badminton alot and i sometimes play it with my friends at the nearby badminton courts. i like to eat chocolates alot and i heard that eating chocolates also help one to distress,so i eat them whenever available and to keep my stress level as low as possible.studying in singapore and nan hua high actually makes me very stredded up but i can distress by hanging out with the friendly people there. :] i love pigs alot,as you can see from the no. of piglets stuffed toys on my bed. besides,i really like to slack and sleep. i can slack for as long as i have but provided with no other things to do, of coz.

    I'm someone who can never clearly define myself or my interests because my interests constantly change with each bit of new information I collect. A few of my interests which have never really changed are my interests in counter-culture, video games, all things other-worldly, and my constant need to communicate and be understood.

    Okay let's get the basics out of the way, the name's Jasmine I'm 18 and I'm from the UK. I'm not obsessed with social class, my teeth aren't that bad but I do love tea. I have finished high school and hope to begin university next year studying English and German.

    My livejournal consists of postings on my life with the odd revelation, random info and reviews thrown in for good measure. I cannot function without something to read.     My name is Mihael. I'm seventeen years old. I'm currently taking time off in between high school and college (where I will major in forensic psychology and minor in criminology, if anyone cares to know), so I have a lot more free time than I used to and would like to add some more people.

    Everyone I know would describe me as a very intense person, so if intensity is not your thing, we probably wouldn't get along well. I have a very black and white personality, yet I see almost everything in different shades of grey. I'm extremely devoted to the people and things I love. I'm very volatile and I feel and react to things very strongly.

    I place a great deal of importance on my fandoms. If fandom mentions will bother you, then don't bother adding me. I'd say my journal is an even balance between fandom and non-fandom things. I'm very into anime/manga (mostly seinen series like Death Note, Black Lagoon, Noir, Gankutsuou, et cetera) and film (action movies or thrillers, like Fight Club, 8MM, and Kill Bill), so I'll talk about that a lot. If you want a list of the anime series and film that I love, see my userinfo.

    As a commuter, I also read a lot and will usually mention whatever book I'm reading at the moment. I'm not really into fantasy at all, but I adore Harry Potter and am starting to get into the His Dark Materials series. Basically, I'm starting to be more open to fantasy-esque things at the insistence of my friend. :]. I also enjoy things people generally mock me for, like Sex and the City, but don't judge! D:.

    my name is laura. i'm 20, and i'm a photojournalism major. i live in alberta, canada. i work during the summer, as a marketing agent and web design/graphics designer for a real estate firm. i also do freelance photography weekly for several well-known papers and magazines in my city. i own my own company for photography which specializes in live events, specifically bands. i do a few local acts, but i prefer to stick to bigger events. i shoot warped tour and taste of chaos yearly, and lots of other individual artists who come by on tour. i work with local bands in my city as well.

    i've had a livejournal for several years now. i'd pinpoint the exact date, but i can't remember all my old livejournal names. this is by no means a new journal of mine. i simply have had it so long, i'm looking for some more fun, active and interesting friends.

    i post large photos in my lj. not more than one or two per entry, the majority go behind cuts, but i thought i'd put a fair warning before you added me.
